Sealift
Heavy lift vessel for Frontline Management AS Engineering and class documentation for the conversion of a total of six Suezmax tankers to heavy lift vessels, including building new cargo hold sections. The vessels are built to handle transport of floating structures weighing upwards of 20,000 mT.

Inocean delivered building specifications, drawings and documentations up to Classification Approval for yard fabrication. The company assisted the yard and Frontline's site team with fabrication supervision. Total construction time from project engineering start to delivery of the first vessel was 18 months.

Scope:
Overall responsible naval architect including all structural and system design for classification documentation.

Fast track construction of a heavy vessel           
One of the biggest challenges was the execution time. The project achieved class approval of main steel in just two months, including 90 percent of all classification documentation related to stability, safety, fire, electro and marine systems.
